I was hungry so I tried to eat a Potato, and it wouldn't let me. it was like trying to eat cobblestone while in hand it will not try to eat it.

I have ate and apple but not potato, so I exit the game then went back into the game and it fix the problem. I wasn't crouching, jumping, or any thing else I was just try to eat the Potato like I ate the apple.

confirming issue it only happens when we crouch and try to eat potato.
edit:also we have to look at solid block.
