Invisible Chests after upgrading to pre-5 from pre-4

I was wandering around my base and noticed all my chests had disappeared. I go onto them, I can see the particles, open them, close them, but can't see them. This did not occur before  pre-5. 

List of previous actions (recent to less recent) (might help, not sure):

Walking

Interacting with beacon

Interacting with villager

Interacting with boat

Interacting with zombie villager (curing it) (about 5 minutes prior).

I am not sure what caused this, but it is either a pre-5 bug or something to do with beacons (I think).
