Glass blocks & panes are odd with campfire smoke

I've got the light grey stained glass panes and blocks, and if you look at the smoke from the campfire, the glass is weird? Like brought forward I guess, as if the smoke is on the other side of it. Screenshots included. It doesn't do it with normal glass block/panes, but it does with some of the coloured (I didn't look at them all).
