In my world there are very few monsters. I can only find one monster far from my spawnpoint. In previous versions there were a lot of them near my spawnpoint. I built a mob farm in hope that the monsters will spawn but they don`t. I want you to fix this. Thanks in advance.

Presumably the mobs spawn underground in caves to the extent that it fills the spawn cap and doesn't allow mobs to spawn frequently on surface
