1-Villager breeding worked for me in 1.14 pre release 4 and 5
2- the same conditions used in 1.14 latest release but villagers not producing hearts and not breeding
3 My understanding of breeding in 1.14
-it takes 2 to tango ie two villagers to breed
-villagers must have lots of food, in my case 4 stacks of bread
-villagers are in a 1x1x2 space so they are always together
-beds must be provided in an amount greater than the villagers within an area to produce babies.
-it is easier if no villages are within 160 blocks of the villagers you are trying to breed( i made sure no villages were within 200 blocks)
Villagers not breeding or showing hearts when all new conditions are met. They are fed several stacks of bread(i've tried other food sources as well), away from an existing village(200 block) and have places 6 beds near 2 villagers that are in a 1x1x2 space together. in 1.14 pre releases this worked fine for breeding and at least hearts if there were no beds. I have tried to update an old map to 1.14 and breeding works on this map alone. i have created new maps in 1.14 and can't get villagers to show hearts or breed. I did create everything in creative mode except I did try survival made beds in replacement of the Creative made beds and that changed nothing. Al other Villager aspects seem to work. Golems generate, they sleep, work and gossip. Thank You for looking in to this.

it seems that they have to sleep now in order to be in the mood, making a breeder is a challenge again!
Does there have to be profession blocks? That might be why they are not breeding, there isn't enough profession blocks. I am no expert in villager breeding however.
