Yes this is the same issue.
Yes this issue is awful! I even notice it when I try place items in chests with hoppers attached to them. The items keep popping back in my inventory.
I had the same issue. It's impossible to opt out. Every time I reinstall now I get the beta version.
How do I downgrade it back to normal? I removed myself from the beta program but when I reinstall the app it keeps going to the beta version.
I'm having the same issue. Villagers don't seem to be working right. They all have beds, jobs and PLENTY of food. Yet they will not breed. I've even seen them sleeping. Also they don't seem to do that freak out anymore when you trade with them. I haven't seen the green stars.
