Unenrolled from beta but its not working

1.2.20.2 and 1.2.14.3 - beta on different PC's

Unenrolled from beta.
Been onto xbox support all day 05/05/18 - still not resolved.

it doesnt seem to matter which account we login to.

Tried everything from waiting for 2 hours etc uninstalling, reinstalling nothing works.

Except it did work for a short period by xbox support redeemed the game and it worked, but after a few hours reverted back?

Don't mark it as future release as you don't have access to them yet. Just put it as 1.5.0.1 or 1.2.13

ok sorry but it wouldn't let me choose that version

Keep in mind that this is a bug tracker and not support. Xbox support is responsible for the distribution and support for the insider program and game distribution. We do not have access to your Microsoft account data here on the bugtracker.

Make a backup of the worlds, before trying to reinstall the game. If you want to keep them.

%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds

Is the default world storage location per Windows account.

Worlds opened in the beta, can't be opened in a lower version or might corrupt.

Check the Windows store if the latest version of the Xbox Insider Hub is installed.

Always make sure there are no other Windows accounts (users on the same machine) that are enrolled into the beta. You can check the status in the Xbox Insider Hub. Sometimes it might help to enroll and unenroll again at this point. In both cases wait until the pending text has disappeared (do not close the app while pending is displayed).

When uninstalling the game, make sure to uninstall it for all Windows accounts.
After the uninstall it helps to terminate and reinstate the store process or simply restart the computer at this point.

Your Windows store might have become corrupted or contain faulty data. Run the Store troubleshooter at this point. In Windows press the windows key and start typing troubleshooter, until you can select the troubleshooter. In the troubleshooter look for the Window Store-app troubleshooter and run it.

Now comes the point to go to the Windows store and reinstall Minecraft.

This includes additional steps and normally shouldn't be required to do a normal reinstall.

Please let us know if this works. This ticket will reopen when you reply.

I had the same issue. It's impossible to opt out. Every time I reinstall now I get the beta version.

Yes it fixed mine! I made sure got the latest insider hub app, and re-enrolled, then unenrolled and yes it needs uninstalling from all accounts on the PC, I didn't realise this !

You notice afterwards in the store, that it actually downloads, it wasn't doing this before.

Working fine now on both PC's, but I will give it some time today to see if it keeps like that.

Thank you for your report!
