13w18b Single Player: My skin goes completely blank white after dying, it stays the same going to a different world, and only resets when I exit minecraaft and relaunch.
It seems to be triggered by your player model having to be reloaded. I've only noticed it when transporting between worlds (as my pictures show.) Like Jon said, the only fix it to relaunch Minecraft.
I believe it also happens in singleplayer, take a look at pailsoaresjrs latest snapshot showcase, his skin is all weird in the end
Grum, try going on a server with a small group of people. Go through the nether if everyone's skin is fine, you should see the bug now
Recently noticed this on my small private server (~10 friends play on it.) World was generated with snapshot version 14w11b. Skin issue happens on every time for me on 14w19a after using a portal (nether or ender) or respawning from death. Issue happens in both creative and survival modes.
Logging out and back in refreshed the skin correctly. Tested with default resource pack as well as a few custom ones.
Also test on a freshly generated 14w19a single player world with same results.
