Walking sound being played in air above snow

When running and walking above grass, the sound for stepping on grass plays. When you jump, the sound does not play, because you aren't walking on grass in the air.

If you do this above grass blocks with snow on top, the sound keeps playing.

To recreate this, find a snow biome, and run and walk around while jumping. The sound will keep playing despite the times you are in the air.
