Raid stops halfway in multiplayer

So numberous times when me and my friends on a server (around 10-20 players at all times)
try to do a raid, it never spawns all of the pillagers. This is the third time this issue has happened and the raid bar just kind of freezes. Clicking the bell does nothing, We've scouted the area multiple times and ran the command "/effect give @e[type=(raiders)] glowing" but it does nothing. Any advice on what to do in this situation would be great.
Also the boss bar does indicate that there are 2 raiders remaining, however that doesn't appear to be the case, but after some time it gradually goes up without any new raiders spawning.

Try using /effect give @e[type=#minecraft:raiders] glowing, that should give the glowing effect to all mobs that can be part of a raid. The command you used doesn't work.

Please report back if you found them. They sometimes go into the villagers' houses.

I'm aware it's not the right command, i just put the "(raiders)" in because i originally did it manually like typing in "type=Pillager" or so. However, the command you gave me doesn't give me any results either.

Raids can sometime fail if it has multiple points of origin.  The point of origin can be a player or a bell, but if both are present it can glitch out and fail.  Raids should be limited to one or the other, but not both.

Can confirm. Me and my friend were playing on a server during a raid, and a similar issue appeared. We experimented and got some new insight. As I read on wiki the raid mobs can spawn up to 1000 blocks away from the village(which is not usually the case) and new mobs can join the raid(as I assume, they can be up to 1000 blocks away from the village). So as we discovered, some pillagers spawning near a pillager outpost 500-1000 blocks away from the village would be counted as raid mobs and included in the boss bar. However, there were some instances when even this was not the case, and running the command /kill @e[type=#minecraft:raiders,distance=..1500] would not solve the problem and the raid would still remain stuck at the point it was.

Please check if that's still an issue in 1.14.2.
