While loading the end, rain becomes visible

I have a world from 1.14.1 and I was in the end dimension. As I was loading the world (so right after the screen with the new fancy loading screen disappeared) I first saw rain from the overworld, before it loaded the end background texture. Also everytime I go trough the end portal, the rain will be visible for a moment after spawning in the end.
