Minecraft using 3.5gb of ram

How much do you have allocated? I have 6GB allocated and see 3.3GB used at menu. I do not see this as an issue. 

4GB but when i press F3 in game and i look at the ram usage it only uses around 1,2 - 1,5gb
but in prerelease 2 its only using 1,5gb in main menu
