Getting Trapped in Doors/Fence Gates

So, I'll open a door/fence gate and then close it.  The problem is I can get stuck in the doors preventing my camera from rotating and me moving.  When I try to move the camera it starts shaking and forcing me in the same position.  This is a really irritating problem since it got me permanently stuck in my survival world.  The only way to fix it is if I break the door/fence gate or the block below it.
