After defeating the Ender Dragon, I used an ender pearl to enter the end city realm through the portal. Right after I spawned in, I was glitched right off the side of a floating platform and fell into the void to my death. This has happened to many other Minecrafters, and this is a very upsetting way and place to die so unfairly. Please fix this Mojang.

Since going from 1.14.1 to 1.14.2 I now have > 90% chance of dying when throwing an ender pearl into portal for the end city realm. I either drop into the void or become embedded in what looks like bedrock. In about 30 attempts I have succeeded twice in getting to the end area after throwing an ender pearl. Also sometimes throwing an ender pearl into the portal does nothing.
I have tried building a platform around the portal and trying different angles. Thought I had it sorted but when I tried a second time from the exact same position, down into the void I went.
