After pressing A or D when first entering a boat, then stopping to only press W, you'll find the rowing animation is off and uneven. and when you stop and only press W this time, it works fine again.

I believe the bug this user has encountered has to do with other rowing mechanics that should be checked, as it can still be found in 1.15 Pre-Release 2.
To reproduce this behavior, press A or D, followed by W. The boat spins around itself with both oars moving simultaneously. If rowing only to the left or right, only one oar should be moving.
There is also no rowing movement when pressing "S".
