When ever I play minecraft, it sets the difficulty automatically to peaceful and therefor no mobs are spawning. But when I set the difficulty back to easy, mobs are spawning like crazy. They are everywhere and spawn real fast. It's the same as I'd set the difficulty to hard.

I am having the same problem, i've played minecraft a lot and I have not seen anything like this, the most frequent mob i see spawning is the creeper. I will see about 10 creepers every minute which should only happen if you are playing hard mode. I play on multiple editions and mainly PC the other editions never have any of these problems especially Xbox edition. I play pc a lot and i've only seen this happen this year and I have not been able to get far because I can't get diamonds with 900 mobs spawning all around me killing me instantly. i triple checked the difficulty and it is set to easy.
