Villagers disappearing

I have seen several versions of this bug in the tracker listed as resolved, but it clearly is not. I had about 8 villagers in a secure, non-spawnable room, and they all gradually disappeared, I don't know if this is more of the disappearing entity bug, or if it is a problem with the villagers themselves. I am posting this again, because it is obviously still an issue. I am running Minecraft java on windows 10
