Iron golems seem to spawn only level and higher with villagers

According to the Wiki, iron golems spawn in a 16x6x16 box CENTERED on the villager.  However, it seems  they spawn with a Y coordinate equal or higher than the villager, so around and ABOVE the villager.

Then the wiki is wrong.

My bad.  In fact, after more testing under better controlled circumstances, the golems spawn from y-6 to y+6.  The wiki is still wrong, tough.
