After killing off the second wave in a Normal Mode raid with bad omen II (Should have had at least 5 waves) the boss bar for the third wave loaded and then disappeared without any mobs spawning or the "Ominous Horn Blares" sound effect.
EDIT: I have added a world download for the same build just in a creative world.
Steps to Reproduce The Bug;
Start at coordinates 1, 80, 1 this should be your spawn point and is a model of my pillager tower farm.
Check your game mode and then give yourself the bad omen effect with the /give command.
Follow the nether portal at 1, 80, 9 into the nether
Once in the nether, you should see another portal close by, Go into it and that should lead to the village location where you will start a raid.
Kill the raid party on the floor above the portal where the hoppers are.
(Maybe) Encounter the bug! The bug usually happens around waves 1-3. I do not encounter the bug every time since it seems to be random but I have a video attached below of the bug happening in that world specifically.
Some tips: You cannot give yourself the bad omen effect when you are already at the village. You need to give yourself the effect before traveling from the nether to the village since that will change where the game thinks the "Center of the village" is and the mobs will not pathfind correctly. Also, if you fly up to watch the raiding party spawn you will be out of the range of the village and will not be able to witness the boss bar disappearing.

You probably have left the area of the raid, hence the boss bar disappeared. The bar is only visible if you're near the village in which the raid occurs.
If that was the case the "Ominous Horn Sounds" Effect would have occurred and mobs would have spawned. But since I was within the range of the village (I can send you the full video but it is over the attachment size) you can see I was still within the range of the village in the same location during other waves.
I have re-created the situation, this time the bug occurring when loading the second wave of the raid, it is the second video named 'Minecraft_Raid_Bug_2'. This time standing right next to the village to make sure I was within the range to see the boss bar. (Raid was in normal mode with bad omen 2, should of had at least 5 waves).
There is a spawning platform with around 320 valid spawning spaces. That's how the first waves of the raid are able to spawn. I will provide a world download soon since this bug will be hard to reproduce since I made this in a skyblock world. Another point is that the raid doesn't disappear just for me but also updates other entities since the villager stops panicking and goes to sleep.
Please check if that's still an issue for you in the latest 1.15.2 stable release or the latest 1.16 development snapshot.
@Michael Wobst Yes it is still an issue! I've had the same probably today as a matter of fact, on Xbox One Bedrock Edition.
I made a backup (copy) of my world in case something went awry, and it did. Here's what I collected

My villagers were housed on an island and there was a tiny island separated by a one-block wide gap where water ran through, and a much bigger island ~20 blocks away. Pillagers spawned only on the coast of the big island or the center of the small island. I had 3 iron golems on the island the villagers were on, who were on the outside of the buildings to fight.
