my crossbow dont shoot

my crossbow will not shoot, i have tryed with a enchanted crossbow and a not enchanted crossbow

sorry if my question is not right writed but my language is actually Dutch

Press right-click again after reloading the crossbow.

You need to first load the crossbow by holding right-click. Then you should be able to shoot with it immediately by just using right click again.
