Some villagers (also 1.13 villagers and custom trades villagers) can't trade because when I open the trading GUI it closes instantly. I've read that it has been solved, but still continues happening.

I am having the same problem. I updated java and rebooted as well. I have been able to get some villagers to open a dialog box but these are few and it does not seem to be based on location or villager occupation. It started happening only 2 or 3 days ago.
