Turtles do not follow players in Creative mode holding seagrass

The bug

Unlike most animal mobs in Minecraft, turtles ignore players whose holding seagrass.

How to reproduce

  1. Spawn a turtle

  2. Hold seagrass in the main hand/off hand

  3. After going to Survival press F3 + N to go to Creative

For comparison, spawn a pig and hold a carrot/potato/beetroot in the main hand/ off hand slots.

Probably relates to MC-148635

In 1.16 Pre-release 7... Also noteworthy is that when luring turtles in survival from water to land.... turtles seem to lose interest in the seagrass held by the player upon trying to embark on land... It's like as if the corner of the land block blocks the turtle's line of sight when the turtle plunges into the water... So the player has to go into the water again to lure the turtle... and the cycle repeats itself...

Can confirm in 20w51a.

This issue appears to be fixed in 21w03a. Turtles will follow the player if they're holding seagrass in creative.
