Squids still swim into the shore and suffocate regularly–I have 29 ink sacks from playing in a survival world for 0.51 days, and have only killed 1 squid. I saw another issue report on this, but it was categorized as resolved (and this issue is still prevalent in the most recent update of Minecraft).
Environment
I run Minecraft on MacOS Sierra version 10.12.6, unsure of what Java version. My computer generally runs fast enough to handle Minecraft, but sometimes lags.
Duplicates MC-132473.
