Invisiable Walk Through Blocks in the Nether

I was mining some Quartz in the Nether when I walked through a space with no blocks and it started to glitch out and slow me down. Kinda like a Cobweb

What I expected to happen was...:
to walk normally like no block was there

What actually happened was...:
I walked through an area with no blocks after mining some Quartz and it started to slow me down like I was in a cobweb and glitch a little

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Be in the Nether
2. Have a Efficiancy IV pickaxe
3. Mine Some Quartz

I don't know if this is how you reproduce this but I have a video of what happened.

Are you walking on Soul Sand? (video wouldn't open)

No I wasn't walking on Soul Sand. I was just floating in the air. I'll add an Image so you can see it

We are getting this issue loads in our world in the nether. Invisible blocks all over the place, have to place another block and mine it. I sometimes end up getting coal or Redstone from these blocks. It also sometimes turns out to be an invisible pigmen that is then angered.
