When trying to enchant a carved pumpkin with, for example, Curse of Binding, it wil not work. You can enchant a pumpkin, but that does not go on your head. I guess that is an oversight of "The Flattening".

Well, it used to be that all pumpkins were carved. Then in 1.13, the carved one (the one you can put on) got detached from the pumpkin. So up to 1.12.2, the pumpkin was the thing to be able to enchant. But now, it makes no sence. Why would you be able to enchant a thing that yu cannot use/wear, but not be able to enchant the wearable?
