[MC-158326] Old (pre-1.8) villagers lose trades after updating to 1.14

Old villagers (pre-1.8) lose their trades after updating a world to 1.14.

If you want to trade with them, you have to place new work stations, that give them new trades (not the original ones). It also breaks their texture.

Did you trade with the villagers prior to upgrading to 1.14?

It is probably supposed to be like in real life where you pick what you want to be.

Yes, you could trade with them in all versions up to 1.14

Did you upgrade the world directly from 1.7 to 1.14? If you did not, in which versions did you open the world?

It was from 1.13.2 to 1.14.4

Asteraoth, can you please make it reopened again? It clearly isn't resolved, even though it might be duplicate of MC-148923.
