Error message that I can't really understand

Everytime I press play on the minecraft launcher, it says the following line. "The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: GLFW error 65542: WGL: The driver does not appear to support OpenGL". I am confused and wondering how to fix this. If anybody knows, please tell me.
