Tried removing the roof and I can see what you mean.. but what I'm reporting is that is this intended? Since adult zombies don't seem to suffer the same problem as the baby ones...
Hmm. The baby zombies seem to be catapulted into the ceiling and take suffocation damage.
You can work around this by placing a sign in the topmost bubble column block.
