this is my first time entering end realm and i just found the end gateway that i thought will teleport me back to main island after i throw one pearl in it.
Why do i throw two pearls to the end gateway?
so i throw one pearl to the gateway. but nothing happens. so i try again and it teleport me to obsidian platform but after about 2 seconds, i just teleported to the void.

sorry for the lack of clarity, i meant why does i got teleported to random location after entering the portal,
anyway, this issue is very old, pretty sure it won't happen on latest version of the game.
It looked to me like the first pearl just took its time to fly (or some other delay), and happened to hit the side of the "island" after the teleportation was completed. Thus, dropping to void...
I watched recently a video about that stuff, and it had something about the risks (hitting sides or whatnot). Like, only have what you can afford to lose on the first tries, and, using crouching tricks in order to crawl through the portal (and not throwing pearls), at least until getting the other end prepared for safe throws. I.e. likely not a bug, but just an annoying design for a game mechanic.

You were not teleported into the void, your video clearly shows that.
