Is your world saved on OneDrive by any chance? I had the same problem, but was able to fix it by shutting down OneDrive for the upgrade.
If not, could you attach a copy of the zipped world folder to this ticket?
No longer affects camels that were prompted to stand using a movement input.
Mostly fixed in 21w10a; fully fixed 24w40a.
Is anyone still experiencing this in the latest version? A lot of inventory desync issues have been cleared up in the last five years.

@BugTracker_ Those commands won’t work since a baby mob’s Age tag changes every tick. But you can use:
/execute as @e[type=bee] if predicate {condition:entity_properties,entity:this,predicate:{flags:{is_baby:true}}} run say Baby bee
/execute as @e[type=cat] if predicate {condition:entity_properties,entity:this,predicate:{flags:{is_baby:true}}} run say Baby cat@Maximus_3069 This issue was fixed in 2024. If you're able to reproduce it in the latest snapshot, please create a new report.
This issue is about the piglin's Inventory tag, rather than equipment. More details can be found in the duplicate report.
