smoker animation continues after pausing

when i look at a active smoker (cooking chicken) and press the escape key to pause the game the fire animation continued to go while other furnace animations stopped moving

What I expected to happen was...:
i thought the animation of the smoker should pause when I pressed esc.

What actually happened was...:
the animation continued

Steps to Reproduce:
1. place a smoker and put chicken, and coal (i don't know if it has to be chicken) so the fire animation starts
2. while looking at the smoker press the escape key (which normally pauses everything in the game.
3. the animation continues
