Custom Resource Pack Audio not affected by proximity volume

This bug occurs whenever I replace a form of audio from the game. For example, if I were to replace the music from "ward" and load the resource pack that contains that change, whenever I would play it, it would play throughout the entire world regardless of how close I am to the jukebox. This issue only happened on all the versions of 1.14. I tried loading the same resource pack with the custom music in all versions of 1.13 and it worked as intended (the custom music would fade out the farther I moved from the jukebox). I've tried researching possible solutions to this problem, but I couldn't find any possible solutions. This bug is not limited to the music discs. The same issue occurs with the ambiance sound for the beacon, however, the issue may be in other forms of audio within the game. Please look into this. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Are the affected sounds mono or stereo?

How exactly can I find the type of sound of the sound files to be mono or stereo?

Ok, I actually dug further and found out how to make the audio files from the resource pack into mono files. I tested it and it faded out when I got farther from the source block that is producing the audio. Thanks for making it clear that if the custom audio was mono or stereo affected the proximity feature.

Yeah, stereo sounds no longer support sound directionality. See MC-146721.
