Block Appears To Break But Dosen't

When I break blocks quickly with an Efficiency V Shovel for example, The blocks disappear however some blocks will become invisible when broken and I have to place something else in the blocks place for it to reappear so I can break it. This makes mining sand, dirt, gravel, netherrack and soul sand

If this could be fixed that would be great
