Observers trigger redstone after being retracted by a piston

intended behaviour

@@unknown, do you happen to know where this has been confirmed to be working as intended? I was searching for a ticket, but couldn't find any.

Piston extends and retracts with observer over the course of several ticks:Obviously WAI

Observer sees the piston head where before there was an air block. It spits out a redstone pulse: Also obviously WAI

This is just the combination of two seperate but intended behaviors.

Yep, after looking at it again, the only reason this seems weird is because the repeater delays the signal by 1 tick. Working as intended.
