Tamed pets don't follow me or stand after loading saved game to a new account

I've recently purchased a full version of Minecraft and loaded a saved game from another PC (same Minecraft Java version, 1.14.4, played just day earlier). So I'm now playing on a fresh new account, with a saved game made with a different account. I've noticed all my tamed pets (and named) have stopped responding to me as an owner, and are stuck sitting. They won't stand up and walk around; right-clicking on them does nothing (both with nothing in right hand or with a tool etc.). They just sit in one spot. I can push them to some extent, and I can put them in a boat, but once they get on land from the water, they immediately sit and won't move. They follow me with their eyes but that's it.
