A better solution to the unbreakable glass panes and glass issue from MC-1574 would be to assing pickaxe as the necessary tool to break glass. Otherwise some unwanted situation could happen in Adventure Mode.
E.g.:
Secret areas visible through glass can be accesed by breaking the glass.
Unreachable areas (houses with windows) could be entered.
Cristal domes that allow light inside could be trespassed, players exit the map.

The issue here is that it can be broken in adventure mode, not that it dosen't have an assigned tool.
i think they need to add the fog... new cheats for adventure map like kill all the animals for better sound quality without any annoyng animal sounds and a lot of other things
As I posted in MC-2367, I think the best solution would be to have gamerule for blocks that are breakable and one for blocks that are placable. Rather then the value being true/false, it would be a list of block ids. The rules could be added with an NBTeditor or with a command like "/gamerule PlacableBlocks add <id>" and "/gamerule BreakableBlocks remove <id>".
These gamerules would only apply to players in adventure mode.
This way the map creator could set (for example) that torches may be placed and broken, leaves may be broken and buttons may be placed.
The tool solution is not flexible enough imo.
why , no add a new tool unique to break weak blocks?
