[MC-16151] Saddles and armor on horses disappeared after updating to 13w21a

all the saddle that my horses wearing in the previous snapshot are disappeared! 😞

or you just, open to lan - allow cheats - cheat the saddles - and go back to survival 😉

I can't help that is disapear, and with a back-up there is always a thing that was not in the back-up (more diamonds, mobspawners)

This is confirmed, but it is not a bug. I mean, saddles and armor were just attached before. But with this new update, they are actually EQUIPPED.

If you want your stuff back, just do what the guy there said: open game to lan, activate cheats, /gamemode 1, get your saddles/armor back and then /gamemode 0 and rejoin game.

Also just lost my saddles from a donkey and 4 horses I had tamed. The Donkey still has the chest on it though.
As a test I jumped on one of my previously saddled horses, but it gave me no control over the horse. It was as if the horse had only been tamed and had no saddle.
