What I expected to happen was...:
when i broke it in creative mode it was supposed to disappear
What actually happened was...:
it broke and gave it to me in item form in creative mode
Steps to Reproduce:
1. place the block in creative mode
2. break it in creative mode with your fists

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-160457, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
