After copying my survival save from 1.14.4 to 19w40a my dogs no longer teleport to me when far enough away. They now just stop moving. Another world (in creative) I tested didn't have this issue.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-145021, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. The fix will arrive in the next version or is already included in the latest development version of the game.
