Chorus Fruit cannot be "smelted" in a Smoker or Campfire

You cannot pop Chorus Fruit with a smoker, even though it's an edible item ?

This isn't a bug, just tested on 1.14.4 and same thing, Its not supposed to be used in a smoker i believe.

The smoker only smelts food items into foods a chorus fruit doesn’t turn into a food

Can confirm in 21w06a.
