I have some wolfes. After an explosion by an creeper my game freezed.
The same happend about 4 times. I had to quit/kill minecraft via taskmanager. Then my game freezed the last time I hit a wolf.
My minecraft version is unmodded and it is the latest.

I cant go on walking. In the error-console I can't find anything. But I can record a video if you want, but I think it wouldn't be helpful...
Okay. I deleted the whole Minecraft-Folder (Appdata) but it didn't worked. After I restarted my system and used the new launcher it works now. Crazy system...

That is weird, desnt happen to me. This started on 1.4.2 or it happened before? Can you try with a new world or creative to see if the game freezes again?
When you say your world "freezes", can you still move? If you can move, but the sounds and antities stop, this may be a duplicate of MC-273.
