it simply does nothing when false. I still get command feedback when it is false. I do not think this has to do with the windows or java version. I'm fairly certain that this is the game.

I'm unable to reproduce this, /gamerule sendCommandFeedback false
works fine for me and disables command feedback.
That's strange. I know that it sometimes works for me, but it only disables the gamerule command's feedback.
Well, i can, but it would take some time and because i'm going to be a bit busy for the next day or so i can get it to you guys on Saturday (two-ish days from now). I don't have the time to do it right now, sorry.
this is with gamerule sendcommandfeedback false. Hope this clarifies what i've been trying to say.

sendCommandFeedback
(feedback for commands you enter in chat) withcommandBlockOutput
(output of command blocks sent to chat)?
