What I expected to happen was...
To join Hypixel's server.

Minecraft crashed.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Play minecraft on the new launcher on 13w21b
2. Open multiplayer
3. Join hypixel's server.

Oh okay, thanks for clarification.

This is an issue with hypixels server. It claims to be snapshot compatible, but it isn't really. We can't fix it, it's entirely up to them sorry. I've added more debug info to help catch this in the future, but that's all I can do.
