Horse invisible after relogin

Its a 13w21b Developement Server. clean Minecraft.

Looks similar to MC-16475, which is marked as a duplicate of MC-913. I feel like I saw another one recently, but can't find it at the moment.

Does this happen in 13w22a? In singleplayer? Because I think my horse has gone invisible a couple of times. Either that or despawned with his saddle on and all tamed. Is there a way for me to find invisible entities using MC EDIT because I think I heard him but could not see him.

So they don't despawn... they become invisible? My horse is still alive then!

Hope this gets solved soon! Gonna try MC EDIT to find him, know the exact location where it was before dissapearing!

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

I've seen horse disappearing under a player for a few seconds in the latest release, and in 1.5.2 this bug happened to pigs. Not sure if still in 1.6.2, though.
