Text on signs does not change shade with the sign texture

This is a follow-up to a closed issue MC-167625. It's been closed due to the fact that the text color was identical, as opposed to the issue's description. The problem is that when different rotation of a sign (wall sign or standing) causes the texture to have a different brightness, the text brightness stays the same, therefore it makes the text hardly readable in some cases.

Attached is a picture of two oak signs placed side by side, one facing north (rotation 8) and one facing east (rotation 4) in daytime with a light source in the same distance from both. They have been dyed using white dye and the text has the same color value. However, for some reason the brightness of the signs' textures is different and the contrast with the text is different, making one of them harder to read.

The previous rationale was that this is working as intended since only black was supported. This is no longer the case with signs being able to be dyed in Survival mode too. This ticket can remain open imo.

This ticket should absolutely remain open. This bug still exists in 1.15.2 as well as the latest snapshot for 1.16 as of writing, 20w09a. I have attached a few screenshots to better visualize the changing color rendering as you rotate the sign. East-west signs look fine. North-south signs look darker and the text appears harder to read.

@violine101 - It's worth mentioning signs may also be dyed in Creative mode. Dying signs is a vanilla feature, therefore it is worthy of receiving support for related issues or bugs.

Can confirm in 20w51a. I've attached a screenshot in which clearly demonstrates the problem.

Can confirm in 21w03a.

Can confirm in 21w06a.

Can confirm in 1.16.5 and 21w08b.

Affects 1.19.1. The signs are shaded depending on their rotation, but this doesn't shade the text, which causes certain dyes to be illegible on signs of certain rotation.
