If you enchant horse armor and then equip it onto a horse it doesn't show the enchanted effect.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a tamed horse
/summon horse ~ ~ ~ {Tame:1b}
Get horse armor
Enchant it in an anvil with a supported enchantment (frost walker as an example)
Equip it onto the horse
Expected Result:
Because the armor supports the applied enchantment, the armor would have the enchanted glint effect applied similar to the player's armor when enchanted.
Observed Result:
The armor will look the same as it did if it was disenchanted.

The horse armors are not rendered as an extra layer, so giving them the enchantment glow is a bit difficult.
Horse armor isn't able to be enchanted in survival not even thru books. i believe this is b/c it is considered Misc. instead a Armor/Weapons and is not enchantable otherwise.
I would like to request a review. The WF resolution is old, dating back to June 2013, and the enchantment glint system has undergone numerous changes in recent updates. Snapshots from version 1.16 encountered multiple issues with the enchantment glint, which were subsequently addressed, and changes were made in version 1.19.4 as well. (Split of enchanted_glint_item.png and enchanted_glint_entity.png as well as a glint strength and speed option) Furthermore, certain enchantments now function on horse armor, unlike when the bug report was initially filed. It's worth noting that some enchantments stopped working due to MC-268934.
Confirmed.
