Resource Pack title screen not using custom texture

The mojang title file (assets/minecraft/textures/gui/title/mojang.png) in resource packs in 1.15.1 does not appear when loading the resource pack, however in 1.14.x it did perfectly fine. I double checked, and the file location did not change in the native resource pack.

[EDIT: I WAS WRONG HERE]
Mr.Mod Person,

The link you shut this down for, is a severely OUTDATED version of this.
This was working fine with resourcepacks being able to overlay the default... UNTIL 1.15.

If this is supposedly a "DUPLICATE", then please reopen the original post from 2013, because no matter what the Mojangsters said, they did allow it to be overwritten up until 1.15.

Please do not overlook this.

they did allow it to be overwritten up until 1.15

That's not true. The Mojang logo could not be changed by resource packs from 13w48a to 19w06a, where it became possible again. In 19w08a it was again intentionally changed so that it is no longer possible. See also MC-143983.

Ah, I was mistaken. My apologies.
It was due to Optifine that I was apparently able to alter the logo.
My humblest apologies for my ill-researched response.
