Pretty much on any FOV above the default 70 you can see this issue. Free x-ray for chunk borders pretty much. As someone who plays with 100 FOV i've never had this issue before.
Any chunk border works, you just need to cut it off the screen where 70 FOV would normally no longer see those blocks.
