The bug
Punching armor stands cause tamed wolves to attack it, and they are stuck in the same phase until the armor stand is broken.
To reproduce
Tame a wolf
Attack an armor stand
→ ❌ The tamed wolf will jump towards the armor stand and try to attack it

This is still the case in Minecraft 1.20.1. They also keep growling and jumping to the position even after the armor stand is broken. Only a relog seems to fix the latter, while the growling remains until you walk far enough from the position where the armor stand was. Really weird.
