The bug
In previous versions undead mobs standing on soul sand would not burn in sun light.
This is not the case anymore, they burn now.

Keep in mind that the wiki is not an official source for what is intended or not (I therefore rewrote the description). It is maintained by volunteers and only describes how the game behaves at a certain point of time.
